Dear Anna,
I hope you are doing well! I wanted to tell you all about my holiday in Italy last month. It was amazing! We stayed in a small town near the sea called Positano. The weather was perfect—sunny and warm every day.
We spent most of our time at the beach. The water was so clear, and the sand was soft. I loved swimming in the sea. In the afternoons, we walked around the town. The streets were narrow, and the houses were painted in bright colors—yellow, pink, and orange. It looked like a postcard!
Of course, we ate a lot of delicious Italian food. My favorite was pizza, but I also tried pasta, gelato, and fresh seafood. Everything tasted so good!
One day, we visited Pompeii. It’s an ancient city that was destroyed by a volcano many years ago. It was very interesting to see the old buildings and learn about the history.
I wish you could have been there with me! I took many photos, and I will show them to you when we meet next time.
