Yesterday was a busy day for Emma at school.

She woke up early, ate breakfast, and got ready for her classes. Her first class started at 8:00 a.m., and it was math. Emma likes math, but sometimes it can be difficult. They learned about fractions, and Emma worked hard to understand the new topic.

After math, Emma had a break. She went outside with her friends to the school yard. They talked and laughed, and Emma felt happy to spend time with them.

The next class was English. The teacher asked everyone to write a short story about their favorite day. Emma enjoyed writing, so she wrote about her birthday. She finished her story just before the class ended.

At lunchtime, Emma sat with her friends in the cafeteria. She had a sandwich and some fruit. They talked about their plans for the weekend and laughed about a funny video they saw online.

In the afternoon, Emma had science class. They did an experiment with water and learned about how things float. It was fun to do something different in class.

At the end of the day, Emma went to the library to do her homework. She finished her math exercises and then went home. It was a long day, but Emma felt good because she learned a lot.
