Hello, my name is Tom, and I am 11 years old.
Today, I want to tell you about my typical day at school. I go to Greenfield Primary School. It is not very far from my house, so I walk to school every day with my friend, Jack.
In the morning, I wake up at 7:00 a.m. I quickly get dressed and eat breakfast. My favorite breakfast is cereal with milk and a banana. After breakfast, I pack my school bag. I always make sure to bring my books, my notebook, and some pencils. I leave my house at 7:45 a.m. and meet Jack outside. We walk to school together and talk about our favorite video games.
School starts at 8:30 a.m. The first thing we do is our morning lessons. Today, my first class is English. In English class, we are learning about how to write stories. I like English because I enjoy writing, and our teacher, Mrs. White, is very nice. After English, we have math. Today, we are learning how to add big numbers. Math is sometimes difficult for me, but I try my best. Our teacher, Mr. Smith, helps us when we don’t understand.
At 10:30 a.m., we have a short break. I usually go outside and play football with my friends. It’s my favorite part of the day! After break, we go back to class. We have science, where we are learning about plants, and history, where we are studying ancient Egypt. I think history is really interesting because I like learning about the past.
At 12:00 p.m., it’s time for lunch. I bring my lunch from home. Today, I have a sandwich, an apple, and some juice. After lunch, I talk with my friends, and sometimes we play games before going back to class.
In the afternoon, we have art class. I love art because I like drawing and painting. Today, we are drawing animals, and I am drawing a lion. After art, we have our last lesson of the day: physical education (PE). In PE, we run, jump, and play different sports. Today, we are practicing basketball. It’s a lot of fun!
School finishes at 3:00 p.m., and I walk home with Jack again. When I get home, I eat a snack and start my homework. After I finish my homework, I play outside or watch TV with my little sister. I always go to bed early because I have to wake up for another busy day at school.
